Popular & Commercial Music (BS)

CALLING ALL FUTURE ROCK, RAP, EDM, AND POP MOGULS: LEARN EVERYTHING YOU NEED HERE.

Do you dream of performing for scores of adoring fans, recording legendary studio sessions, or working behind-the-scenes producing the latest hit? Loyola is the place for you.

Our Bachelor of Science in Commercial and Popular Music degree is for musicians outside of the School of Music or the worlds of classical and jazz who want to hone their craft and their industry knowledge. With our state-of-the-art facilities, industry-recognize and Grammy-winning faculty, and comprehensive curriculum, you'll learn exactly how each component of the music industry works, from production, technology, and recording, to publishing, distribution, and legal issues, to management, event production, and marketing. At the same time, you'll develop your performance and technical skills through courses on style, recording techniques, theory, audio production, and more.
