Music Industry Studies (MUIN and MUIB Minors)
The Department of Music Industry Studies offers two (2) minors in Music Industry Studies for any student interested in a succinct summary of the music business:
Music Industry Studies Business Minor (MUIB) The Music Industry Studies Business Minor introduces students to a business foundation in the music industry. This minor gives students a basis of different languages of the music business and does not require a background in any musical instrument.
Offers courses in Music Industry Studies that focus on legal issues in music, music marketing, music management, music finance, and entreprenuership
Music Industry Studies Minor (MUIN) The Music Industry Studies Minor offers flexible liberal arts courses that introduces students to the world of the music industry and technology. This minor gives students a basis of different languages of the music business and does not require a background in any musical instrument.
Offers courses centering on legal issues in music, music marketing, internet technologies, and business
Allows students to take courses in different areas such as technology, audio production, or musicianship
Designed for students who are interested in both the artistic and the business sides of music
