Lo Faber, former professor of history and currently professor of music industry studies, has published his first book, Building the Land of Dreams: New Orleans and the Transformation of Early America with Princeton University Press.
Robert Trujillo, famous as bassist of multi-platinum, Grammy-winning rock band Metallica, stopped by to promote his new documentary, Jaco. Along with co-producer Johnny Pastorius, Trujillo tells the story of bassist Jaco Pastorius.
Dimitri Staszewski, 2014 Loyola graduate of Music Industry Studies, has won a Fulbright Scholarship co-sponsored by MTVu to research and document the changing nomadic culture in Mongolia and the cultural force of their music.
