Having created the digital fine arts program at Loyola and now teaching all offerings in this area, Professor Cannon has had over fifteen solo exhibitions and been included in over 50 group exhibitions throughout the United States and in Europe. He has won fellowships from the Southern Arts Federation/NEA, the Southeastern Center for the Contemporary Arts, and the Louisiana Division of the Arts. His work is included in numerous private, corporate and museum collections. Recent projects include the international computer graphics conference SIGGRAPH, and artist residency at Kunstlerhaus Buchenhausen in Austria, and a retrospective exhibition at Clark Hall Gallery at Southeastern Louisiana University. He is currently working with large scale digital prints and immersive sensor installations.
