This eight week session will focus on the choreography of traditional New Orleans dances which include a medley of Mardi Gradi favorites all synched into an unforgettable flash mob extravaganza. Similar to the "Thriller" and "Beat It" flash mob series, "Mardi Gras Mambo" will trace the origins of New Orleans music, dance, and will conclude with several secret flash mob performances coinciding with Mardi Gras 2014.

COST: Tuition is $100, $90 if paid in full by January 12th; drop-in rate: $13/class

TO HAND DELIVER REGISTRATIONS: Bring a sealed envelope containing a completed registration form and tuition check made out to "Loyola Prep" to the Loyola University College of Fine Arts front office, located on the first floor of the Loyola Music Building, at the corner of Calhoun and St Charles Avenue. Office hours are: M-F 8:45am-4:45pm. Office will be closed December 20th-January 5th. Only mail-in registrations will be accepted during that time.
GIFT CERTIFICATES: You are welcome to purchase class registrations as gifts. Follow the procedures above. However, please note that there will be no refunds, exchanges, or makeups for missed classes. If we receive your registration by December 18th, we can email you a print-able gift certificate.
REGISTRATION CONFIRFMATION: When we process your registration, you will receive a confirmation email that you are enrolled.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Loyola Ballet alumnus, local actor and performer Kenneth "Kynt" Bryan will teach the classes. He is currently featured in the Focus Entertainment feature film "Dallas Buyers Club" starring Matthew McConaughey, Jareo Leto, and Jennifer Gardner, and stars as a Principle Actor alongside Robert DeNiro and Sylvester Stallone in the forthcoming Warner Brothers mega budget blockbuster "Grudge Match" in theaters December 25, 2013. Bryan graduated from Tulane University in 2012 with a master's degree in liberal arts and currently works as an actor, model and professional dancer. He has been a featured guest artist with Loyola Ballet since graduating with a special contract dance degree in 2002.
