Discover Music Industry Studies at Loyola

Start producing with established professionals while you study.

You’ll be taught by industry professionals like a five-time GRAMMY® Award winner, the founder of Rykodisk Records, a music film producer and GRAMMY® Award nominee, published writers, the founder of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and many others. Each week, you’ll participate in a forum with industry professionals from around the country. You’ll have a chance to produce audio and video recordings with local and internationally renowned musicians, GRAMMY® Award winners and nominees.

Through internships you can also work on the production of events like the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Voodoo Music Experience, the French Quarter Festival as part of the program. Our Entrepreneurial Units  program lets you participate in the formation of start-up music enterprises to give you real-life experience.

Join other Loyola students who have gone on to work for ASCAP, Lincoln Center, Creative Artist Agency, Rehage Entertainment, Superfly Presents, Clear Channel Radio, G. Shirmer Publishing, Opus 3, EMI Music Publishing, and Atlantic Records.
