Julie Wischan (’14): Lead Vocalist for The Fake Carls

Julie is currently the lead vocalist of The Fake Carls, a New Orleans-based pop-rock band. Originally started in 2011 as an acoustic duo with co-founder and fellow alum Steven Panacek, the two added bassist Caleb Gallops, drummer Sean Lemkey, and James Gillum on trumpet.

Reid co-founded Simple Play Management in 2006 with fellow alum and current adjunct Michael Twillman, where he currently serves as Director of Artist Management.

Nick is now owner of the club and concert venue, which can accommodate up to one thousand guests. Featuring music, cocktails, and entertainment of all kinds, Republic aims to be “stylish, elegant, sophisticated; artistically credible, yet approachable.”
