Monty Goulet, BM ‘11:Owner of Maestro Interactive Games

A passionate devotee of music technology, Monty worked for Loyola student entrepreneurial units NOLA Sound and Vital Sounds, and served as president of the latter. His passion for audio and music technology led him to an impressive career designing and implementing sound for video games; post-graduation, Monty worked as part of the sound team for Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Nintendo Wii. Following this, he worked for Austin-Based MGG Sound as part of their app development team.

Currently, Monty operates his own Austin-based game studio, Maestro Interactive Games, which brings his audio focus to game development. His innovative approach has led to profiles in The Austin-American Statesman and other media outlets, and several of Maestro’s titles have performed well in the marketplace: Acoustic Highway, Luna’s Tale: Curse of the Forgotten Doll, and Percy’s Predicament. Currently, Maestro is developing its first-ever title for Wii U and PS4, to be announced and released later this year.
