Jimmy Elcock: Nationally Touring Drummer and Bandleader

Jimmy knew he was hooked on music for life after an opportunity to play with the Blue Man Group on a unique PVC-based instrument of his own design. Through middle and high school, Jimmy studied at the New England Conservatory, sharpening his skills through advanced courses in transcription, theory, aural skills, composition, and arranging.

After graduating from Loyola’s Music Industry Studies program, Jimmy interned with New Voice Entertainment, the production force behind country megastar Jason Aldean. Currently, he tours the country as drummer and bandleader for Jamie Lynn Spears (sister of Britney), with whom he has also appeared on The Today Show. He also plays with David Fanning, Cole Taylor, Abigail Rose, and Aaron Parker, and opened for household names including Collective Soul, Trace Adkins, and Better Than Ezra. Jimmy currently is based in Nashville, and has also co-founded his own music marketing company.
