Atoyia Scott, BS ’10: Musician and Licensed Attorney of Alabama and Louisiana

As a musician and attorney, Atoyia’s passion for litigation began during her involvement in moot courts and trial advocacy programs at Loyola’s College of Law. After graduating with a BS MIS, she enrolled in the College of Law, and spent significant time studying law abroad in Vienna and Prague, and clerking at law firms in Gretna, New Orleans, and Mobile.

As a licensed attorney in both Alabama and Louisiana, Scott is a member of each state’s bar association. A trial and appellate attorney for Burr & Forman LLP in Mobile, she works primarily in torts, insurance, product liability, and appellate practice. Outside of her law career, Atoyia still is true to her classical piano roots: she still loves to play with jazz, contemporary, and gospel artists and bands.
