Alex Marse, BS ’11: Creative Technologist at Local Projects

Alex developed a deep interest in digital music technology and composition, and studied relevant coursework at Georgia State University and NYU Steinhardt. Having developed skills in digital audio workspaces such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, MaxMsp, and PureData, Alex worked as a production assistant for the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, using his skills to assist students with recording projects. Later, he served as a graduate research assistant for CityGram, a Google-backed research project focused on analyzing urban sounds.

Currently, Alex serves as a creative technologist at Local Projects, a firm specializing in interactive museum installations.
