Short Bio

Kellie Grengs has been with Loyola designing costumes and supervising the costume shop for over ten years. She earned a M.F.A. in Costume Design at Tulane University in New Orleans and holds a B.S. in Apparel Design and Manufacturing from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI.

Kellie supervises the Costume Shop and oversees designing and construction of the Department production costumes; she teaches Make Up for Stage and TV, a variety of courses in the department and serves on numerous College committees including: Friends of Theatre & Dance, Art on Campus Committee, Staff Advisory Council, the College Handbook Committee and the College Web Team.  

Recent awards include "Best Costume Design" from the Ambie Awards by Ambush Magazine for "A Christmas Carol" and "Excellence in Costume Design" from the American College Theatre Festival Region VI for "The Children’s Hour." 

Kellie is a member of the Costume Society of America and does volunteer work with Looziana Basset Rescue and Planned Parenthood.
