Short Bio

Dr. Anthony Decuir has been the associate dean of the College of Music and Fine Arts since 1990, and has also served as interim dean. He is an active member of the American Music Therapy Association, and has served that organization in many capacities, including president (1986-88). He is currently an associate editor for the Journal of Music Therapy. Decuir is published in many professional journals and has lectured throughout the United States and abroad. He has been with the College of Music faculty since 1974.
