The Loyola University Band Department invite talented high school bands from across the country to perform in our Invitational Band Festival and work with guest artists, The Boston Brass. This festival has a supportive and educational environment featuring concerts and masterclasses.The festival day will conclude with a concert by The Boston Brass and the Loyola University Wind Ensemble.

For 30 years, Boston Brass has set out to establish a one-of-a-kind musical experience. From exciting classical arrangements, to burning jazz standards, and the best of the original brass quintet repertoire, Boston Brass treats audiences to a unique brand of entertainment, which captivates all ages. The ensemble’s lively repartee, touched with humor and personality, attempts to bridge the ocean of classical formality to delight audiences in an evening of great music and boisterous fun. This concert will feature the Boston Brass and the Loyola University Wind Ensemble.
Annual Loyola International Band Festival Information:
High school bands audition via recording to participate in a one day festival featuring internationally recognized composers and artists and the Loyola University Wind Ensemble. Selected bands will have the opportunity to perform a concert and participate in masterclasses with our guest artist. There will be a culminating concert featuring our guest composer or performers and the Loyola University Wind Ensemble.
